Sichuan Road & Bridge upholds the development concept of “serving the country through the industry, developing transportation, and benefiting the people”. Bearing in mind the mission and responsibility, it makes selfless assistance in targeted poverty alleviation efforts to contribute to poverty alleviation in Sichuan Province. In recent years, the company has put forth efforts in poverty alleviation in Shaohuoping Village in Jianyang, Chengnan Town in Yingshan County, Zhengzhi Town in Nanjiang County, Qiaoba Village in Nanjiang County, Fengxiangshu Village in Aba County, Gaomuqiao Village in Yuechi County, etc. It has invested 420 million yuan in construction of local roads and the implementation of projects related to the increase and decrease of urban and rural construction land, driving local infrastructure construction and helping poverty-stricken households to secure safe housing. A total of over 7.4 million yuan was donated to build “Sichuan Road & Bridge Hope Primary School” in Aba Prefecture, Liangshan Prefecture, Jiang’an County, Anyue County, Yingshan County, Panzhihua, etc., solving the problem of schooling for some school-age children in poverty-stricken areas.
