On January 24, Sichuan Road & Bridge Luxian County girder fabrication yard, the largest girder fabrication yard in Southwest China, passed the review by the Audit Department of the National Industrial Product Licensing Office, presenting the first New Year gift in 2019.

On January 21, the audit team conducted a comprehensive appraisal of the two aspects of the internal work materials and on-site field verification of the second office of the seventh department at the girder fabrication yard. The certification audit expert group unanimously agreed that the post-tensioned simply-supported box girders produced by the yard had 100% percent of pass, and the yard has the ability to continuously and stably mass-produce safe, high-quality and qualified box girders for high-speed rail.

The yard, built by Sichuan Road & Bridge Corporation Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd., is the first high-speed girder yard by independently constructed Sichuan Road & Bridge Group and an important move of Sichuan Road & Bridge in the high-speed rail market. As one of the key control projects of the Inter-city Railway of Southern Sichuan, the yard will undertake the prefabrication and erection tasks of a total of 760 box girders for CN-4 and CN-5 standard sections of the Inter-city Railway. It endeavors to promote the construction of the inter-city railway, and provides a new impetus for Sichuan Road & Bridge to respond to the provincial Party committee’s strategic plan for “development of Sichuan in four directions and global opening up” and the new progress of “Sichuan governance and prosperity”. The successful review proves once again the strong comprehensive strength of Sichuan Road & Bridge in the field of high-speed rail construction.
