From October 21st to 24th, Rune Edvardsen, Mayor of Narvik, Nordland, Norway, and his delegation, the Chairman of Narvik City Council, the Minister of Commerce and the Minister of Port Development visited SRBG, during which intensive business negotiations have been launched.

On the morning of October 22, the delegation visited Sichuan Railway Investment Group Co., Ltd. (SRIG) and had a meeting, Xiong Guobin, Chairman of Sichuan Road & Bridge (Group) Co., Ltd.(SRBG), hosted the meeting, and held discussions and exchanges on cooperation in infrastructure construction, energy, logistics ,trade and tourism development with the delegation. After the meeting, Sun Yun, Secretary of the CPC SRIG Committee, Chairman of SRIG, Secretary of the CPC SRBG Committee of met with them, Chairman Sun Yun introduced the overseas operation and development of SRBG, showed his gratitude towards Norway for its strong support in the construction of the Hålogaland Sea-crossing Bridge and E-2 Beitstadsund Bridge. Mayor Rune Edvardsen said that the professional and strength demonstrated by SRIG and SRBG were impressive. The two bridges served as excellent business cards for Chinese contractors’ effort to “go global”, and he looked forward to the development prospect of SRBG in Norway and other European markets. He hoped that both sides would further strengthen communication and exchanges and deepen cooperation in various fields.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited the headquarters of SRBG and visited its exhibition hall. Yang Rugang, General Manager of SRBG hosted the meeting, two sides discussed the cooperation in depth.

On October 23, SRBG organized  the delegation to visit the Exhibition Center in Chengdu International Railway Port to comprehend the expansion of the “four-way channel” of Chengdu International Railway Port, the planning of the Railway Port industrial functional area, the innovation reform of the Free Trade Zone, and the operational conduction of China-Europe Railway（Chengdu）and etc.. The Railway Port Management Committee, Chengdu International Railway Port Investment & Development (Group) Co., Ltd(CIPI), SRIG and SGIG participated in the discussion. The Railway Port Management Committee and CIPI introduced the efficient, flexible and low-cost global distribution system of China-Europe Railway（Chengdu）and the next step to create supply chain integrated solutions that gather cargo flow, capital flow, trade flow and information flow to serve the whole Sichuan. The Norwegian delegation expressed strong interest in the trade cooperation with SRBG on the basis of China- Europe railway and hoped to conduct more in-depth exchanges and cooperation.

On October 24, the delegation visited Qingcheng Mountain and learned from its tourism development projects.
