Ya'an-Xichang Expressway, with a total length of 240km, is called" Ladder Expressway" and"Express in Clouds", the most beautiful expressway in China by far and one of the expressways in mountainous region which are characterized by severest natural environment, greatest difficulties in construction and highest technological content over the country and even in the world. It was completed and opened to traffic in April 2012.
