Xinjiang Karamay-Urho Expressway is an important main line of Northern Xinjiang connecting Altay, with a total length of 139km, completed and opened to traffic in December 2013. It crosses the Gobi, desert and other complicated geologies, awarded National Quality Engineering Award.
